- President                                             

Scott founded Accelerated Business Consulting to help small to medium sized business owners and senior managers navigate through the change that inevitably happens to organizations.  Through my career I have seen the challenges that executives face and now have the opportunity to help CEO, CFO, CIO, COO and senior executives.  

No matter whether you are part of a small or large organization at some point you will be faced with the need to navigate through strategic technology and business transformations, business change or run your operation more efficiently.  Regardless of what your situation is we can help by setting you up for success.

I have managed everything from small teams to large complex organizations at Fortune 50 companies.  Put my nearly 20 years of management experience to work for you.  A quick summary of my accomplishments are listed below:

  • 2007: Managed a non-profit 501c3 entity with a $1,000,000 budget to be a profitable venture so it can grow in the years to come.
  • 2006: Managed a world wide service organization to provide desktop computing client services for all of Hewlett Packard including over 300,000 desktops, laptops, mobile devices and printers.
  • 2005: Lead a Program Management Office (PMO) responsible for reducing HP IT annual infrastructure spend by nearly $300 million.
  • 2002: Responsible for Day 1 IT Infrastructure working flawlessly during the Compaq/Hewlett Packard merger.
  • 1999: Managed the Hewlett Packard IT Infrastructure spin off of Agilent Technologies.
  • 1995-1998: Managed world wide teams responsible for IT service engineering, marketing, provisioning and support across Hewlett Packard.
  • 1993-1994: Worked directly with the Executive Council at Intel Corp to enable the use of a mobile collaboration computing platform.

Scott is the Las Vegas Chapter Director for the COO Forum which is a professional development association of Second-in-Command Executives: Chief Operating Officers, Operating CFOs, General Managers, Divisional Presidents, Operating CIOs, and Executive Vice Presidents.  The COO Forum serves with integrity, providing value to our Members, to our Member’s companies, and to our overall business community.

Scott is also the Executive Director for the Kravenko Foundation, a Las Vegas based non-profit providing handicapped children the opportunity to experience the art of dance.

Jim Arena
- Director Strategy & Transformation
Jim Arena has made his career in motivating and driving transformational change in organizations for Fortune 500 companies.  He has spent most of the last 20 years in the technology industry heading up cross organization initiatives in IT, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales and HR .  All of these strategies focused on breakthrough revenue and customer loyalty that engaged employees to deliver aspirational change that became, in time, indistinguished with the organization's DNA.  He was part of the executive team in the office of the CEO for the HP/Compaq integration, and was responsible for the Decision Accelerator, a capability designed to take the toughest decisions and make them stick.  More recently, he was responsible for acquiring $100M through four acqusitions for Business Objects, now an SAP company.  Jim's focus at Accelerated Business Consulting is in three areas:

  • Breakthrough Strategy Leadership
